Eggs’ Hatching Best Practices

    The most important thing in incubation is disinfection of eggs and

incubator. Not only when you examine the eggs but also when you just touch

your eggs, you certainly wash your hands with soap. Cleanliness of eggs

handling and incubator would improve the the hatching result. Hands washing

is an important habit to prevent the spread of bacteria, parasites and viruses.

Before you place your eggs in the incubator, make sure to disinfect the incubator and eggs. It is why sterilizing the eggs is very important in incubation course When you choose the eggs, remember that deformed, dirty, or broken eggs are not good for hatching. Rough or small eggs are also not good. The egg which is covered with soil breads bacteria. It is better to select clean eggs. If your egg is cracked, it cannot be hatched even if the fissure is tiny. The bacteria will permeate to the fissure and the egg will rotten. Cleanliness of incubator is very essential. Specialists certainly cleans the incubator completely every time before they start to incubate. You should clean and sterilize the incubator every time before and after you hatch the eggs. There are two kind of eggs. One is fertilized egg and another is unfertilized egg. Unfertilized egg can not be hatched. Be sure you hatch fertilized eggs which are from hens raised with roosters. Select eggs that have laid in less than a week. Be sure to clean your hands before you inspect the eggs. Do not spend more than 10 minutes on eggs inspection and eggs’ hand handling. You would better to inspect the eggs for within 10 min. a time. Noise can influence to hatching result. It is better placing your incubator away from laud noise such as a washing machine. It is better to avoid placing the incubator in quiet room away from crowds.
